Susanne Munch Thore

Munch Thore has extensive experience of helping both Norwegian and international clients with acquisitions and business transactions, as well as capital market transactions. She advises boards of directors, companies and non-profit foundations on matters relating to company law, corporate governance, sustainability issues and compliance,. She also advises on anti-money laundering issues.

Munch Thore is a director or holds other positions of trust in Norwegian and non-Norwegian companies spanning private equity, finance, industrial production, oil and gas, commercial property, the offshore and aquaculture supply sector and franchise operations, as well as non-profit membership organisations. She has extensive experience of assisting listed companies and publicly owned enterprises.

She has operative management experience and has been responsible for the implementation and operationalisation of compliance regulations. She has chaired the Norwegian Bar Association’s company law committee and its stock exchange and securities law committee. Since 2018, she has led the Norwegian Bar Association’s anti-money laundering expert panel.
