Per A. Dagslet

With over 25 years of experience of the acquisition and divestment of businesses and equity transactions, Dagslet is one of the longest serving lawyers currently employed at Arntzen de Besche. He has been project manager for several of the larger transactions in which Arntzen de Besche has been engaged as legal advisor. He is ranked as a leading transaction lawyer by rating agencies such as Chambers and Partners and Legal 500.

He has extensive experience of assisting with acquisitions in a number of business sectors, such as energy, technology, fisheries, aquaculture and tourism, as well as the service sector.

Dagslet has in-depth knowledge of decision-making processes and structures in major enterprises or business groups. This insight, combined with a firm understanding of the commercial drivers, makes him a strong and inclusive project manager, who is keen to find the short-term and long-term solutions that add value to the transaction. Dagslet is quick to understand his clients’ needs and objectives, and provides clear communication throughout the process.

ARC Arise Consulting strengthens its position with the acquisition of Oceans

The Nordic consulting group ARC Arise Consulting has acquired the Norwegian company Oceans. Together, they form one of the largest consulting groups in the Nordic region with nearly 1200 consultants specializing in strategy, technology, innovation, design, and communication. Altor Equity Partners is the leading external investor supporting the groups growth journey. We are proud to have assisted ARC, in cooperation with Hammarskiöld, in this transaction.

Irish investment company DCC plc is acquiring Norwegian Solcellekraft

Arntzen de Besche has assisted bp on joint venture with Deep Wind Offshore to develop South Korean offshore wind projects

We are proud to have acted as legal advisors to bp with this joint venture, seeking to further develop the offshore wind opportunities in South Korea. As a part of the agreement, bp has acquired a 55 percent stake in Deep Wind Offshore’s (DWO) early-stage offshore wind portofolio, which includes four projects across the Korean peninsula with a potential generating capacity of up to 6GW.

Arntzen de Besche assisted Sweco with the purchase of Arcasa Architects

Arcasa Arkitekter has 70 employees and had a turnover of NOK 125 million in 2021. With this acquisition, Sweco's architecture division will become the country's third largest architectural office with 180 employees under the brand name Sweco Architects.

We have assisted Mitsui with investing 5.5 billion NOK in Aker’s Mainstream Renewable

We are proud that we, together with Herbert Smith Freehills LLP, have assisted the Japanese trading house Mitsui in its agreement to invest EUR 575 million, for a 27.5% stake in Aker Mainstream Renewable AS. The company is controlled by Aker Horizons with 54.4%.

Arntzen de Besche have assisted Pandion Energy AS in the merger with Pandion Energy Norge AS (previously ONE-Dyas Norge AS)

We are proud to have acted as legal advisers to Pandion Energy AS in this merger. The merger was approved by the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy on 14 October 2022, and was completed 1 November 2022.

Arntzen de Besche assists Carneo in the acquisition of Holberg Fondsforvaltning

Carneo AB, the largest independent asset management group in the Nordics, announced 27 January the acquisition of 100 % of the shares in Holberg Fondsforvaltning AS (“Holberg”). The employees in Holberg will reinvest and own 30 % of the shares in Holberg.

Arntzen de Besche assists Sweco in acquisition

Arntzen de Besche has assisted Sweco Norge AS in the acquisition of TAG Arkitekter AS. This is the first time Sweco acquires a Norwegian architect company. The agreement was announced 15 October.
