Julie Almedal Hellevik

Almedal Hellevik is specialised in general contract law and dispute resolution, and possesses particular expertise in construction law.

Almedal Hellevik assists domestic as well as international parties in all phases of a project, i.e. development of contracts and project structures, ongoing counselling during the implementation phase, risk analyses and handling of any disputes in connection with final settlements. This relates to construction contracts and adviser contracts in the building and construction industry.

Through her work experience, Almedal Hellevik has gained a solid understanding of the commercial as well as technical challenges of this industry.

She has considerable experience of dispute resolution and litigation, and has argued cases before the district court, the court of appeal and the arbitration court. Almedal Hellevik has served as counsel in one of Norway’s biggest construction conflicts.

She gives regular lectures to members of the building and construction industry.
