Plows comes from DLA Piper, where he has been a partner since 2015. He started his career as a solicitor at the London firm Dentons. In 2006 he moved back to Norway, obtained a Norwegian licence, and became a senior associate at law firm Thommessen, before moving on to DLA Piper as an associate partner in 2012.

Throughout his career, Plows has primarily worked with insurance and dispute resolution. On the insurance side, he has assisted the insurance market in complex claims and coverage disputes under insurance policies and reinsurance agreements. He has particular experience with financial institutions insurance, liability insurance, D&O insurance, W&I insurance and cyber insurance. Plows also has extensive experience with international arbitration proceedings, particularly concerning reinsurance and energy.

Stensrud has been with Arntzen de Besche since he started as an associate in 2000. Over the past twenty years, Stensrud has assisted Norwegian and international companies, banks and financial institutions in various financing transactions. He mainly provides advice in relation to financing with an emphasis on bank loans, bond loans and restructuring, and has particular experience with financial transactions in the aviation sector and the oil and gas industry.

Two of our banking and financing department’s focus areas are the complex assignments outsourced by the aviation and energy sectors. Stensrud has worked with several major processes nationally, and has been involved in a number of complex cross-border processes in cooperation with foreign parties.
