We are pleased to have assisted Pandion Energy in its agreement with INPEX Idemitsu Norge AS to divest interests in the Valhall and Hod fields, as well as the Slagugle and Mistral discoveries on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The transaction covers seven production licenses.
Since acquiring its stake in Valhall and Hod in 2017, Pandion has played an active role in the area’s development. CEO Jan Christian Ellefsen notes that the divestment enables the company to crystallize value and focus resources on its growth portfolio, including Nova, Ofelia and other high-potential assets.
The Slagugle discovery (2020) was the largest on the NCS that year, while Mistral (2025) holds estimated resources of 19–44 mmboe. The transaction is subject to approval by the Norwegian Ministry of Energy.
Our core team on this transaction consisted of Per Dagslet, Asgeir Lehmann and Karl Erik Navestad
