On 23 December, EQT Infrastructure V, through HATI BidCo, submitted an offer to acquire all outstanding shares in Torghatten ASA. The offer values Torghatten ASA at NOK 8.58 billion. Torghatten's shares in Widerøe is not part of the transaction with EQT.
Torghatten is one of Norway's largest transportation corporations and has ownership interests in companies within bus transportation, aviation and shipping. The company is headquartered in Brønnøysund in Norway and has more than 7,000 employees.
EQT is a leading investment company that manages more than 46 billion EURO and has ownership interests in companies that employ a total of 159,000 employees globally.
