Opportunities and challenges for Norwegian oil companies and supply companies in West-Africa – Focus on Ghana and Nigeria

  • Time: 09 November 2018 08:30 - 10:00 hours
  • Location: Arntzen de Besches lokaler i Bygdøy Allé 2, 0257 Oslo
  • The registration deadline has expired.

Arntzen de Besche Law Firm invites to a breakfast seminar 9 November 2018:

Ambassador Jens-Petter Kjemprud - Norway’s Ambassador in Abuja, experts from Aker Energy and Rystad Energy and lawyers from Arntzen de Besche will provide you with an in-depth orientation on the economic and legal framework on possibilities for the Norwegian supply industry in West Africa. The main focus will be on Nigeria and Ghana, including, the recently announced Ghana First Open Licensing Round.

We hope that this seminar will be a good opportunity to meet some key players with expertise and experience from an attractive and fast-growing market. And if you are unable to attend, perhaps a colleague may be interested?

Why is Arntzen de Besche arranging this seminar now? We have, for a number of years, advised the Government of Ghana and other African governments on petroleum legal and regulatory matters. We therefore know the legal framework in the respective countries well, in particular Ghana where we have been advising for eight years. We also wish to showcase that we - as a major Norwegian law firm with particular expertise on oil and gas - can offer a full range of advisory services to Norwegian oil and gas companies, including those venturing into the West African region.

Time: 9 November 08:30 – 10:00. Breakfast/registration from 08:00.
Place: Arntzen de Besche’s offices at Bygdøy Allè 2, Oslo

Topics and speakers:

The seminar is free and is arranged by Arntzen de Besche, in cooperation with NABA, NNCC and Mettle Consulting.
Please note, this seminar is for oil- and gas companies and businesses only.
