Maartmann-Moe is part of the Construction department, specializing in dispute resolution, contract law, construction law and professional liability.
She has broad experience in the litigation field, and has previously handled numerous large and complex disputes regarding inter alia expropriation damages, professional liability, contract law and construction law. Maartmann-Moe has a special interest in and focus on alternative dispute resolution. She is certified as a mediator by the Norwegian Bar Association and is used as a mediator particularly in the construction and infrastructure field. She also has experience as an arbitrator.
Within the construction field, Maartmann-Moe assists both builders and contractors in all phases of their projects, from the choice of contract strategy, to drafting and negotiations of construction contracts, assistance during project execution and in the final settlement discussions. She assists in all types of construction and infrastructure projects, including technically complex deliveries regarding inter alia design, programming and construction of railway and signalling systems, design and delivery of passports and ID-cards, design, programming and construction of building automation systems and design and construction of data centers. She has extensive experience with PPP roads projects, as she has acted as legal advisor to (potential) suppliers in both major PPP roads projects announced in Norway over the last decade.
Maartmann-Moe is proactive and known for going the extra mile to protect the interests of her clients. She is focused on providing clear and balanced advice that creates added value. This is reflected inter alia in her move into alternative dispute resolution, which is driven by the potential profits involved with avoiding and solving disputes amicably rather than on large and costly legal proceedings.
