Gormley is part of the Oil, Offshore and Energy department.
Gormley advises oil companies on legal issues related to petroleum activities including PSAs, JOAs, gas transportation and processing contracts and other contractual and regulatory issues. She advises governments on inter alia policy, structuring and drafting of legislation, regulations and PSAs as well as on tender rounds and other regulatory and contractual issues related to petroleum resource management. She also advices on transparency and accountability, anti-corruption measures and health, safety and environment issues.
Gormley has worked with legal issues related to the petroleum industry both in the public (the Ministry of Labour, offshore HSE) and the private sector, including a secondment as an in-house lawyer in an IOC. Amongst other, she has previously worked at Deloitte Law Firm in Oslo, Norway.
