Skotheim is part of the Oil, Offshore and Energy department and has extensive experience working with energy law in the oil and gas sector, as well as within wind and hydro power segments of renewables.
Skotheim advises clients on contract law issues within a broad range of practice areas. Skotheim also handles ESG issues, particularly the EU taxonomy and related EU law.
Skotheim is specialized in public international law and gives regular lectures for law students on the subject.
He has several years of experience from Norwegian politics and has worked as political advisor in the Norwegian Parliament.
Skotheim is also an Arabic speaker with particular insight into the Middle Eastern region.
