Atle E Lunder is part of the Dispute Resolution and Construction department.
Lunder is retained by clients in all areas of commercial litigation.
These cases often includes (potential) breach of contract/liability in connection with i.a. Joint ventures, investments or supplies, or cases concerning professional liability, breach of good business practice and insurance law and general coverage issues.
Atle Lunder also assists with Indirect Tax law and EEA Law. Indirect Tax law includes value added tax (VAT), excise duties and customs duties, and general import/export issues.
Lunder’s last employment was the Ministry of Finance (Tax Law Department) where he in particular dealt with issues regarding indirect taxes and possible conflict the EEA Agreement in cases before the EFTA Surveillance Authority. Lunder was also involved in the assessment of new legislation on VAT on import and new provisions regarding self-supply and adjustment of deductible VAT.
Lunder is advising both Norwegian and foreign clients on general compliance issues and assists in particular with cases before the tax administration, Sivilombudsmannen and the Courts.
