Arntzen de Besche assists TrønderEnergi in merger

TrønderEnergi AS and NTE AS announced 16th October that the board of directors of the two companies have agreed to establish a joint Mid-Norwegian powergrid corporation. The new company will be the second largest power grid corporation in Norway based on total customers and will from the establishment have approximately 250 000 customers.

NTE and TrønderEnergi will each own 40 % of the shares in the new company while KLP will own 20 %. KLP has been owner in TrønderEnergi Nett since 2011.

The new corporation will have approx NOK 5.4 billion in invested capital.
