Four new partners in Arntzen de Besche

It is a pleasure to welcome four new partners to Arntzen de Besche.

"We continue to strengthen our firm within M&A, capital markets, construction and energy and we are proud that these four will join us in our offensive growth," says managing partner Håvard Sandnes. With the recruitment of Susanne and Knut, we further develop our position within M&A and capital markets and now have 14 partners in the department. Our construction department is growing rapidly and it is very deserving that Stian becomes a partner in the department. Odd-Harald has a position and a competence within the energy, environmental and climate laws that are very well suited to our company and that will create synergies with our environments within M&A, financing, property, tax, dispute and construction.

Susanne Munch Thore has extensive experience as a lawyer specializing in corporate law, corporate governance and securities law, and has considerable experience in M&A and capital market transactions. She will also work with corporate law and anti-money laundering counselling. Susanne becomes part of the M&A department. She also holds positions in other companies and organisations.

Odd-Harald B. Wasenden is Dr juris from the University of Oslo and has over 20 years experience as a lawyer in Wikborg Rein and in Wiersholm. Odd-Harald is recognised as one of Norway's foremost lawyers in renewable energy and climate rights, and works broadly within energy and petroleum law, contract law, stock exchange and securities law and environmental law. He has considerable experience as a consultant within the energy sector, including from extensive "in-house" work in Statnett and on Nasdaq. He has further expertise in financial market regulation and provides assistance in connection with trade in energy, emission allowances and financial instruments. Odd-Harald is part of our oil, Offshore and Energy division.

Stian Heimdal has considerable experience in construction and has special experience in the development of major projects related to transport, infrastructure and land facilities. Knut Martinsen has considerable experience as a transaction lawyer, both with M&A and capital market transactions. He becomes a part of our department for M&A and Capital markets, and will also work closely with our technology department. Knut comes from the position as a legal counsel in EVRY where he has been for 3 years. There he has worked on several major technology transactions, including the merger between EVRY and Tieto.
