Arntzen de Besche is a contributor to the newly created Distibution Law Center

As the only Norwegian law firm, Arntzen de Besche is a member and contributor to Distribution Law Center (DCL), which is an open online platform. Here, lawyers, students and clients will find all available and up-to-date information related to distribution law.

The Vertical Block Exemption Regulation (VBER) is one of the most important international legal instruments within competition law and distribution agreements. The European Commission has recently issued its first draft of the revised VBER, in which the DLC has provided a consultation input.

The goal is for the DLC platform to help lawyers and clients for training within these regulations. Arntzen de Besche currently has one of Norway's broadest and most experienced professional communities within competition law with a background from, among others, the Norwegian Competition Authority and the EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA). The platform is run by the law firm Contrast with the support of 26 specialized contributors throughout the EU/EEA and the UK.

The platform will be launched on 4 October 2021. Follow DLC on LinkedIn for updates ahead of launch: DLC – Distribution Law Center.
