4 May 2015 Gassnova SF delivered a pre-feasibility study on potential full-scale CCS projects in Norway to the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.
Gassnova SF is the Norwegian state owned enterprise facilitating the Norwegian State’s participation in carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects, as well as finding solutions to ensure that technology for CCS can be implemented and become an effective climate measure. The study concludes that there are several industrial actors willing to study the possibilities for CCS further, depending on the framework and conditions provided for by the Government.
