Two new partners at AdeB

We are experiencing an increased demand for our services within commercial property and dispute resolution, and it is our great pleasure to announce that Thomas Øslebø and Atle-Erling Lunder have been appointed as new partners.

Commercial property
Our commercial property team has expanded in recent years and is taking an increasing share of the market within transactions and development projects.

Thomas Øslebø
Thomas Øslebø started with the firm in 2005 and is a specialist in the acquisition and development of commercial property. He works primarily with organising and structuring commercial property transactions/property investments. He has experience from a number of major commercial property transactions involving both Norwegian and foreign property investors. He also works with issues related to the management and operation of real estate, focusing on leases and dispute resolution. Thomas has been rated by the reputable rating agencies Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 and referred to as “A smart negotiator, always pleasant, and creates a good atmosphere in discussions”. Moreover, he has a “tremendous work capacity and overview of the transaction process”.

Dispute resolution and litigation
Our dispute resolution and litigation team at AdeB has grown significantly over the past two years and has noticed an increased demand for litigators with expertise in insurance law and indirect taxes.

Atle-Erling Lunder
Atle-Erling Lunder joined AdeB in 2006 and acts as legal counsel in domestic and international commercial disputes. He has gained extensive experience as an adviser and has litigated a number of major cases involving contract interpretation/liability for damages in connection with breaches of partnership agreements, investment or supply contracts, cases involving professional liability, breach of good business practices and insurance claims, including the well-known “Terra-case”.

He has previously worked as a senior adviser in the tax law department of the Norwegian Ministry of Finance and adviser to the Norwegian Directorate of Customs and Excise, and has long experience and expertise in assisting clients with matters concerning value added tax, excise duties and customs/carriage of goods, during tax audits, appeals/complaints and litigation before the Courts.

“We are very pleased that two of our senior lawyers have been appointed as partners at AdeB,” says Managing Partner Sven Iver Steen. “It is a sign that our efforts to develop the professional expertise, commercial understanding and industry knowledge of our lawyers is producing good results and further strengthening our company.”
