Vjosa Maxhuni

Maxhuni specializes in dispute resolution and contract law, mainly within the construction industry.

She assists national and international actors with drafting of contracts, follow-up of projects and handling of final settlements and disputes. Vjosa has valuable experience from large and complex projects, including one of Norway’s largest road projects, which is carried out as a PPP project. Additionally, Vjosa has wide experience within dispute resolution and litigation, both before courts and arbitral tribunals, as well as out-of-court mediation.

Areas of expertise also include environmental law. The theme for Vjosa's dissertation was «Environmental requirements in construction contracts». She has been key in preparing the Green Building Alliance’s contract guide for BREEAM certification and was involved in the initiative “Climate change for constructions and buildings”. She has also given several lectures, in collaboration with Skift and Young Construction Forum.

Vjosa has a strong social engagement and she has held a number of posts. Currently she is deputy chair of the Norwegian Bar Association's committee for Young Lawyers Oslo.

Through her extensive experiences, Vjosa has acquired a good understanding of the interaction between legislation, politics and business. This enables her to see cases and legal issues in a broad perspective. By combining her legal proficiency and personal drive, Vjosa works proactively to achieve optimal results in all cases and projects.
